Michelle Balash

Michelle leads CrossVue’s Sales and Marketing teams and is a customer-solution-centric leader focused on active listening to ensure solutions meet client’s strategic goals and objectives.
Michelle has over 25 years of experience leading by example with a focus on the processes that enable technology to achieve strategic goals and realize the greatest ROI. She is passionate about the future of work and technology’s impact on the workforce. Michelle has leveraged her experience as a consultant, leader, and mentor to build inclusive teams focused on diversity of thought to directly disrupt and innovate effectively.
Prior to joining CrossVue, Michelle spent time in both Big4 and startup environments. She started her career working in Human Resources at ConocoPhillips (Tosco Marketing Company). From there, she moved into consulting at PeopleFluent where she focused on client success and engagement, product management, industry GTM value messaging and sales leadership. In 2018, she joined the Workday ecosystem at IBM, where she was an Associate Partner responsible for large enterprise and major key accounts.
Michelle actively mentors women in sales to share past experiences and build an amazing network of strong, powerful female leaders. Michelle was recognized as a 2019 Aragon Research Women in Technology award winner for sales leadership.
Michelle holds a bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University and has since dedicated her time to attend executive leadership classes at The University of Phoenix, Northwestern University, Harvard T.H. School of Public Health, and The Wharton School. In addition, she holds her Design Thinking Practitioner certification.
On a personal note, Michelle lives in Arizona with her two high school boys, three labs (Black, Yellow, and Chocolate) and husband who is a professional sailor who now lives in the desert.
